Two injured
Two Greene County teenagers were injured at 11:18 p.m. Nov. 24 in a head-on collision on Route 21 in Jefferson Twp. State police said a car driven by Shay Siebert, 16, of Nemacolin, was traveling west near Gwynn Road and when she attempted to pass a vehicle in a no-passing zone Siebert struck a vehicle driven by Michael Colon, 35, of Crucible, who was traveling in the opposite direction. Siebert and a passenger, Kaitlyn Wolfe, 16, of Rices Landing, were flown by medical helicopter to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va. Colon was not injured. Police said Siebert will be charged with careless driving, passing on a double yellow line, driving after 11 p.m. on a junior license and several other violations.
Harassment reported
Dylan Glover, 18, of Dilliner faces harassment charges for allegedly hitting and kicking an unidentified man at 2:15 p.m. Nov. 24 at 254 Duff St., state police said.
Woman cited
State police cited Sherry Lapana, 46, of Dilliner Nov. 21 for harassment after she allegedly shoved Jackie Holbert, 56, of Dilliner at a residence on Holbert Stretch Road.
Man charged
State police filed criminal mischief charges Nov. 25 against James C. Tennant, 19, of Waynesburg after he allegedly broke a passenger window on a vehicle owned by Cindi Weimer of Connellsville on Route 19.
Window shattered
Jeffrey B. Shriver of Waynesburg told state police a brick was thrown through the passenger window of his pickup truck while it was parked at the Econo Lodge on Route 21 at 2:55 a.m. Nov. 24.
Jewelry stolen
More than $37,000 in jewelry, gold bars and coins and silver bars and coins were stolen in a burglary between Nov. 1 and 8 at 1807 S. Eighty Eight Road in Monongahela Twp., state police said. The name of the victim was not released. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-627-6151.
