Juanita D. Raber, 76, of Spraggs, died Saturday, December 3, 2016, in Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia.

She was born August 1, 1940, in Bula, West Virginia, a daughter of the late August Rebold and Opal V. Simpson Rebold.

Mrs. Raber was a homemaker. In her early years, she worked at Westinghouse, West Virginia University Hospital and Bells Market in Blacksville, West Virginia.

She was a 1958 graduate of Clay-Battelle High School in Blacksville.

Mrs. Raber was a member of Bula Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons and their spouses, Scott Edward Raber and wife Kirstan of Iowa Park, Texas, and Sheldon Eugene Raber and wife Andrea of Fairmont, West Virginia; a daughter-in-law, Rebecca Raber of Waynesburg; a brother, Randy Rebold and wife Cheryl of Morgantown; eight grandchildren, Matthew Raber and wife Rachel, Ethan Raber, Madison Raber, Alyssa Raber, Kaitlin Raber, Lane Raber, Bregan Besedich and Colby Besedich and a great-grandchild, Kaden Besedich.

Mrs. Raber was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and friend to all who knew her.

Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Carl E. Raber Jr., who died January 17, 2015; a son, Carl Steven Raber; a daughter who died in infancy, Belinda Raber; and a brother, A. Allen Rebold.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Owen-Neely Funeral Home, Blacksville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 8, with Pastor James Zinn officiating. Interment will follow in Blacksville Cemetery.
