Elizabeth Dianne Brady Areford, 73, of Waynesburg, went to be with her Lord Monday, December 12, 2016.

She was born August 6, 1943, in New Geneva, a daughter of the late Elzie Warren and Mary Marie Harris Brady.

She was a 1965 graduate of Albert Gallatin High School.

She resided in Waynesburg since 1979 and was a member of New Geneva Baptist Church.

She always enjoyed gossiping. Above all, she loved being a mother and grandmother and spending time with her family.

Surviving are three children, Peggy Sue Areford, William Warren Areford and David D. Areford, all of Waynesburg; 12 grandchildren, Austin Areford, Allysa Areford, Nathan Patterson, Justin Whiskey, Conner Ruse, Stephanie Allen, Mandy Rison, John “Bud” Shultz, Christian Staggers, Joey and Brooke Lilley and Kyle Gray; and five great-grandchildren, Zach, Zander and Silas Rison, Andrew Thorne and Kaleb Gray.

Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her former husband, William L. Areford; a daughter, Louri Ann Marie Areford; a son, Daniel Paul Areford, who died in infancy; and a brother, Gary Lou Brady.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home LLC, 3275 West Roy Furman Highway, Rogersville, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 16, with Pastor Scott Blair officiating. Burial will follow in Oakmont Cemetery, Waynesburg.
