William Lindsay Dulaney
William Lindsay Dulaney, 94, of Spraggs, died at 6:14 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2016, in the Evergreen Assisted Living in Waynesburg.
He was born Friday, November 24, 1922 in Spraggs, a son of the late Forney L. Dulaney and Grace Zimmerman Dulaney.
Mr. Dulaney was a member of the Spraggs United Methodist Church. He was a Veteran having served with the U.S. Army during W.W.II. When his health permitted he enjoyed working with wood and working on wrecked cars. He worked for several years in the maintenance department at the former Greene County Memorial Hospital retiring in 1984.
His wife, Genevieve Phillips Dulaney, whom he married on June 20, 1946, died September 5, 2008.
Surviving are one daughter, Coral Lea (Roger) Westfall, of Front Royal, Virginia; two sons, Terry C. (Ruth) Dulaney, of Spraggs and Larry D. (Jan) Dulaney, of Spraggs; four grandchildren, Jason (Caroline) Dulaney, Lisa (Kurt Peters)Dulaney, Kyle Westfall and Joel Westfall; two great-grandchildren, Wyatt Dulaney and Keegan Dulaney and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two brothers, Walter V. Dulaney and Reason Franklin Dulaney.
At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation. A public Memorial Service will be held at a time and date to be announced. Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, Owner/Director, 197 N. Maiden St., Waynesburg, is in charge of arrangements.
