Ray Forest Lee
Ray Forest Lee, 94, of Halleck Road, Morgantown, West Virginia, formerly of Mt. Morris, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus, Tuesday, December 20, 2016, in Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown.
He was born May 19, 1922, in Buckhannon, a son of the late Ebert Lee and Emma Morrison Lee.
Mr. Lee proudly served his country as a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and worked as a surface coal miner.
He attended Mt. Morris Assembly of God Church and loved traveling to area churches, nursing homes and radio stations, playing gospel music on his guitar with his wife, Pauline. In his spare time, he enjoyed farming.
Surviving are five daughters, Doris Garrison of Millsboro, Deleware, Linda Lee of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Debbie Eddy and husband Roy of Core, Kathy Bate and husband Tom of Dilliner and Donna Cooper and husband Clyde of Clarksville; three sons, Estle Lee of French Creek, Larry Lee of Morgantown and Danny Lee of Morgantown; four sisters, Georgia Kovach (Don) of Litchfield, Ohio, Maxine Cole of Venice, Florida, Kathleen Mealey (Denver) of Amherst, Ohio, and Lucille Swast of Punta Gorda, Florida; three brothers, James Lee (Carole) of French Creek, Doyle Lee (Lydia) of Ohio and Tommy Lee (Brenda) of French Creek; 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Deceased are his wife, Eva Pauline Lee; four sisters and a brother.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the time of service, Thursday, December 22, in McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Morgantown, with Pastor David Jessie officiating. Burial will follow in Beverly Hills Cemetery. Graveside military honors will be conferred by Westover Veterans of Foreign Wars 9916 and WVANG Funeral Honors.
