Waynesburg Lions Club selects Students of the Month
WAYNESBURG — Arden Kalsey and Adam Weinschenker, seniors at Waynesburg Central High School, were chosen by the high school faculty at Waynesburg Lions Club’s Student of the Month for December.
Kalsey, daughter of Robb and Lisa Kalsey of Waynesburg, maintains a 4.0 grade-point average.
She is a member of student council, art club, National Honor Society and yearbook staff.
Outside of school, Kalsey volunteers at the Greene County Humane Society and enjoys drawing, singing and playing guitar.
Her future plans include attending college.
Weinschenker, son of James and Amy Weinschenker of Waynesburg, maintains a 4.0 grade-point average.
He is a member of Future Business Leaders of America, National Honor Society, library club, physics club and the soccer team. He has won awards in FBLA regional competitions and has received high honors in physics, chemistry and biology.
Weinschenker is a member of the Boy Scouts and has achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.
He plans to attend West Virginia University.
