Dr. Franklin L. Pellegrini, DVM
Dr. Franklin L. Pellegrini, DVM 52, of Mantua, Ohio, died on Thursday, December 22, 2016, in Mantua.
He was born Friday, October 9, 1964 in Willoughby, Ohio, a son of the late Franklin Pellegrini and Nina Keener Hayhurst of Morgantown, West Virginia.
Mr. Pellegrini was a graduate of West Virginia University and the Ross University School of Veterinarian Medicine.
Mr. Pellegrini served as Vice President for several years for the Freedom Health until he joined the Jaguar Animal Health Association in 2015.
Mr. Pellegrini was a veterinarian who specialized in equine medicine focusing on race horses. He was affectionately known as “Doc” to friends, and known as Frank and Daddy at home.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Shannon Pellegrini and his children Angelina, Gabriella, and Anthony. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Deceased in addition to his father is his step-father Wilford Hayhurst.
Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. the time of the service on Thursday, December 29, 2016 in the Mt. Morris Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God Church, 103 School Road, Mt. Morris, with Rev. John Jackson and Rev. Fred Tomlinson officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris. Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, Owner/Director, 324 Mt. Morris Road, Mt. Morris is in charge of arrangements.
