B-C girls edge Carmichaels, 33-31

Kinlee Whited scored Beth-Center’s eight points in the fourth quarter, all from the foul line, as the visiting Lady Bulldogs edged Carmichaels, 33-31, Monday night for a Section 4-AA victory.

Whited scored a game-high 21 points, including 17-of-22 from the free throw line.

Beth-Center (1-3, 3-6) led 7-6 at the end of the first quarter and 19-17 at halftime.

Carmichaels (1-3, 4-8) cut one point from the deficit in the third quarter, but the Lady Bulldogs gained the point back in the final quarter.

Megan Walker led the Lady Mikes with 12 points.
