Loretta Jean Cunningham, 64, of Wind Ridge, died at 2:50 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2016, in the home of her daughter, Bonnie Shough, after being seriously ill with a cancer-related illness since December.

She was born August 19, 1951, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Beryl Harlan and Iona Carr Blake.

Mrs. Cunningham attended West Greene High School.

Prior to moving to Richhill Township in 1986, she resided in the Rock Lick, West Virginia, area for several years.

Mrs. Cunningham was a member of Bristoria Baptist Church, Holbrook.

She enjoyed her time with her grandchildren and pet dog, Mia.

On October 15, 1969, she married Thomas Perry Cunningham, who died January 26, 2006.

Surviving are a daughter, Bonnie and husband Allen Shough of Wind Ridge; a son, Kevin Cunningham Sr. of Wind Ridge; four grandchildren, Nathan M. and Kevin Cunningham Jr. and Wyatt and Amber Finch; two sisters, Debra and husband Donald Whitlatch of Center Township and Nancy and husband Danny Lemasters of Moundsville, West Virginia; five brothers, Donald and wife Ruth Blake of Cameron, West Virginia, Gregory and wife Rose Blake and Richard Blake, both of Moundsville, Alfred and wife Debbie Blake of Waynesburg and Harold and wife Mary Blake of Bentleyville; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are a son, Timothy Wayne Cunningham, who died March 5, 2003, and a sister, Rose Marie Blake.

Friends were received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday in Rush Funeral Home Inc., Rogersville, where funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 12, with Pastor Gary Crawford officiating. Interment followed in Fairview Cemetery, Richhill Township.

The family suggests memorial contributions to a local American Cancer Society .
