Bonita G. “Bonnie” Moore, 66, of Wadestown, West Virginia, died Saturday, January 16, 2016, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia.

She was born April 23, 1949, in Wheeling, West Virginia, a daughter of Charles A. Grimes and Oneita Stockdale Grimes of New Freeport.

Prior to her retirement in 2009, Mrs. Moore was an employee of Ruby Memorial Hospital for more than 41 years. Throughout her employment at the hospital, she worked in several areas, including the payroll department, business office, information technology and telecommunications department.

Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her husband of 30 years, Robert G. Moore; a stepdaughter, Cindy Moore; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a host of friends.

Mrs. Moore was a graduate of West Greene High School in Rogersville and Electric Computer Programming Institute in Pittsburgh.

She was a member of Grandview United Methodist Church, Garrison, where she served as church treasurer and pianist for the last 14 years.

Deceased are her paternal grandparents, Orville O. and Carrie O. Grimes; her maternal grandparents, Spencer H. and Nettie Mae Wright Stockdale; maternal step-grandfather, Dr. John C. Stull; and a stepson, Robert C. Moore.

A private celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Tennant Funeral Home, Hundred, West Virginia.

Memorial contributions may be made to a local Humane Society.
