Cougars defeat Carmichaels, 47-39

Carmichaels made a run in the second quarter Tuesday night to make it 25-24 at halftime, but visiting Charleroi outscored the Mikes in the second half, 22-15, for a Section 4-AA road victory.

The Cougars improve to 8-1 in the section and 13-3 overall. The Mikes slip to 2-7 in the section and 8-9 overall.

Sam Miceli scored a game-high 23 points for Charleroi.

Alex Hoy led the Mikes with 12 points.
