Grace Irene Lantz Cain, 69, of Waynesburg, died at 5:02 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2016, at home in Waynesburg.

She was born Thursday, July 18, 1946 in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Edgar B. Lantz and June Rose Temple Lantz.

She was a homemaker.

Her husband, Arthur Cain, whom she married on September 15, 1967, died February 22, 1987.

Surviving are one daughter, Melissa A.”Missy” Cain, of Waynesburg; one sister, Mary Herrod, of Waynesburg and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are one sister, Sarah K. Wilson and one brother, William Lantz.

There will be no public visitation. A graveside memorial service will be held at a date and time to be announced with Rev. Cristy Wise officiating. Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, Owner/Director, 197 N. Maiden St., Waynesburg, is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Greene Mount Cemetery, Waynesbur.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Melissa Cain, 315 Mt. View Gardens, Waynesburg, PA 15370.
