Randal T. Yenchik
Randal T. Yenchik, Sr., 66, of Waynesburg, died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at home of an apparent heart attack.
He was born Thursday, July 21,1949 in Canonsburg, a son of the late Andrew Yenchik and Betty Flowers Yenchik.
Mr. Yenchik was a veteran of the U.S. Air force Reserves during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the James Farrell American Legion Post #330 of Waynesburg, Waynesburg Moose Lodge #461, Pennsylvania Constable Association, Waynesburg Sportsman Club, NRA, and local #23.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
He retired from Canonsburg Shop and Save as a meat cutter June of 2014. He is also a Pennsylvania Constable.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy Wood Yenchik, whom he married on February 16, 1970.
Also surviving are one son, Randal T. (Lori) Yenchik, Jr., of Waynesburg; two foreign exchange students who are considered children, Leonor (Sean) Davis and family of Columbia, Maryland and Justin (Sarah) Pollard and family of England; three grandchildren, Alex Yenchik, Zack Yenchik, and Nolan Yenchik; one sister, Kim Rozanc and Dave Bradwell of Cecil and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is one brother, John A. Yenchik.
Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2016 in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, Owner/Director, 197 N. Maiden St., Waynesburg, where services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2016 with Rev. John Poling officiating. Burial will be in Greene Co. Memorial Park, Morgan Twp. Graveside military rites will be accorded by James Farrell American Legion Post #330 and representatives of the U.S. Air force.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the family.
