Karen L. Debolt
Karen L. Debolt, 71, of Zephyrhills, Florida, formerly of Masontown, died Sunday, March 27, 2016, in her home.
She was born December 5, 1944, near Carmichaels, a daughter of the late Decatur W. and Esmeralda “Sis” Cole Deems.
Surviving are two daughters, Kelley Ruse (Bill) of Carmichaels and Dara Massey (Robbie) of Beckley, West Virginia; five grandchildren, Garrity Williams (Josh), Tereva Pyles (fiancé Mike Phillips Jr.), William Michael Ruse Jr., Maria Massey and Erik Ray Massey; three great-grandchildren, Timothy Alexander Rowell, Michael Todd Bennett and Madison Renae Phillips and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are two brothers, Howard and William Pinkney, and two sisters, Marion Deems and Norma Sargent.
Mrs. Debolt was a member of First United Methodist Church in Masontown.
She had worked as a caregiver in home health service, and enjoyed helping out at Zephyrhills Amvets.
Mrs. Debolt was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday and noon to 1 p.m., the time of service, Saturday, April 2 in Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, Paul M. Lesako, director/supervisor, with the Rev. Bruce Judy officiating.
