Tony P. Yeager
Tony P. Yeager, 44, of Carmichaels, died Tuesday, November 8, 2016, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia, from injuries sustained in a traffic accident.
He was born August 17, 1972, in Waynesburg, a son of the late Kenneth P. Yeager and Shirley S. Cox Yeager Keller.
On April 18, 1998, he married his childhood sweetheart, Pamela Durbin, who survives.
Mr. Yeager worked as a mechanic for Elite Auto Service, Fox Ford, Burns Tire and Chuck’s Collision, where he was also a tow truck driver. He was currently working as a truck driver for Benamati Water Service.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles and four-wheelers, driving his race car and building and driving demolition derby cars. He enjoyed being outdoors and hunting. His greatest pleasure was spending time with his family.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three sons, Justin Yeager (Alicia) of Carmichaels, Nathan Yeager (Amanda Jenkins) of Waynesburg and Ricky Yeager (Leslie Simpkins) of Waynesburg; five grandchildren, Marissa, Haylee, Kayden, Nathan Jr. and Richard Jr.; brothers and sisters Linda Hughes (Dave), Deb Tolley (Terry), Kenneth P. Yeager Jr., Karen McMasters, Roger Yeager (Betty), Bill Yeager (Jamie Jones), Patricia Yeager (Charles Eddy), Randy Yeager and Sheila Stewart (Wolfie); his mother-in-law, Beatrice Durbin, who was like a mother to him; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Bird (Gary) and Rita Durbin (Daniel); three brothers-in-law, Roger Durbin, Robert Durbin and Rodney Durbin (Denise); and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High Street, Waynesburg, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 12, with the Rev. Cathie Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in Muddy Creek Cemetery, Carmichaels.
