Anthony “Tony” Bowser, 59, of Osage, West Virginia, formerly of Fredericktown, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 1, 2016, in the home of his daughter, Amber, following a courageous battle with cancer, with his family by his side.

He was born August 16, 1957, in Waynesburg, a son of the late Carl and Eunice Turner Bowser.

Mr. Bowser attended area schools and was a 1977 graduate of Bethlehem-Center High School.

He was a landscaper.

Mr. Bowser was affectionately known as “Tony.” He enjoyed golf, landscaping and working with plants. His greatest pleasure was spending time with his grandchildren whom he loved dearly.

Surviving are a daughter, Amber Bowser (fiancé, Stephen Hoopengarner) of Osage; sisters Carole Payton of Clarksville, Patricia West (Don), Sandara Glemzua (Michael), Jacqueline Nestlor, all of Fredericktown, Audrey Smith (Tim) of Indiana, Susan Hollis of Charleroi and Linda Yelenik (William) of Mt. Morris; and four grandchildren.

Deceased is a brother, Carl Bowser.

In lieu of floral tributes, the family requests memorial donations may be made to the funeral home.
