Jerry Dee Huffstetler, 72, of Waynesburg, died at 8:26 a.m. Saturday, November 12, 2016, at home.

He was born Tuesday, July 11, 1944 in Wichita, Kansas, a son of the late Feuwl Jenson Huffstetler and Zora Mae Styron Huffstetler.

Mr. Huffstetler attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Waynesburg. He was a Veteran having served with the United States Navy. When his health permitted he loved to fish. He retired as a salesman having first worked for Fox Ford in Waynesburg and later for Stone Mountain Carpet in Canonsburg and Irwin.

Surviving is his former wife, Mary Dawn (Tustin) Huffstetler of Waynesburg.

Also surviving are one son, Christopher Jenson Huffstetler, with whom he made his home; one step-son, Lynn Huffstetler of Wichita and one sister, Pat (Ron) Maurith, of Wichita.

Deceased is one brother, Larry Lee Huffstetler.

Friends will be received from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. the time of the service on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, Owner/Director, 197 N. Maiden St., Waynesburg, with Rev. Harry Rich officiating. Burial will be private in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
