Frances Dorotha Cook Riggs
Frances Dorotha Cook Riggs, 94, of Aleppo, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016, in Reynolds Memorial Hospital.
Born January 20, 1922, in Greene County, she was a daughter of the late Ray and Pearl Reeves Cook.
She was a member of Windy Gap Independent Church, Aleppo.
Deceased are her husband Harold Riggs Sr.; a brother, Gerald Cook; and two daughters, Vivian Frederick and Sherri Emerick.
Surviving are two daughters, Margaret Fox of Cameron, West Virginia and Donna Hughes of Holbrook; two sons, Harold (Melade) Riggs Jr. and Dennis (Tracy) Riggs, all of Tomball, Texas; a brother, Vernon Cook of Washington; 19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 39 Maple Avenue, Cameron, West Virginia, with services at 7 p.m. with Pastor Tom Sinko officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, in Centennial Cemetery, Aleppo.
