Joseph W. Ross, 49, of Waynesburg, died at 10:16 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at home.

He was born Wednesday, September 13, 1967 in Waynesburg, a son of Margaret “Peg” Fike Ross of Waynesburg and the late Lloyd Ross.

Mr. Ross was an avid member of the National Rifle Association and loved hunting and fishing. He was a former machinist for West Penn Wire both in Waynesburg and Washington.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Chiquila Hall Ross, whom he married on September 11, 1999.

Also surviving are one daughter, Ava Ross and one son, Hunter Ross both at home; two brothers, Lloyd “Tag” Ross, Jr., and Michael Ross, both of Waynesburg and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. the time of the service on Saturday, November 26, 2016 in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, Owner/Director, 197 N. Maiden St., Waynesburg, with Rev. William Parker officiating. Burial will be in Hall-Doty Cemetery, Cameron,West Virginia.
