Anna M. Jones
Anna M. Jones, 93, of Greensboro, died at 1:17 a.m. on Friday, November 25, 2016 at Mount Macrina Manor, Uniontown.
She was born June 21, 1923 in Bobtown, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Tencer) Martin.
Mrs. Jones was a graduate of Point Marion High School and was a member of the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Greensboro until the church closed.
She worked for over 39 years as a seamstress for Greenway Manufacturing in Waynesburg.
Her husband, Arthur B. Jones, died on June 1, 1979.
Surviving are a daughter, Angela “Candy” Pluto and her husband, George, of Hopwood; five grandchildren, James E. Jones and his wife, Lisa, Melissa M. Jones Dlugos and her husband, James, George Pluto, Katie Pluto and Leah Pluto; three great grandchildren, Cara Jones, Matthew Dlugos and Sophia Dlugos; three brothers, Emil Martin and Edward Martin, both of Bobtown and Steve Martin of the state of New York; a sister, Marie Kovach of Greensboro; a daughter-in-law, Paula Jones Zalar and her husband, Jim, of Carmichaels and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a son, Arthur B. Jones; three brothers, Joseph Martin, Michael Martin and John Martin and a sister, Margaret Martin.
After her son, Arthur’s passing, the Louis Kovach Family helped her with her needs.
Family and friends were welcomed from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street, Carmichaels, where a blessing service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, followed at 11:00 a.m. by a Mass of the Resurrection at St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church, Carmichaels with the Rev. John M. Bauer as celebrant. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Point Marion. A vigil service was held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday in the funeral home.
