Ted B. Presock, 65, of Carmichaels, died at 12:41 a.m. on Sunday, September 4, 2016, at his home, after a lengthy illness.

He was born May 18, 1951 in Franklin Township, Greene County, a son of the late Theodore Wilson and Ruth (Norris) Presock.

Mr. Presock was a lifelong resident of Carmichaels and was a Protestant.

He served with the U. S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era and was a member of Cumberland American Legion Post 400 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3491.

Mr. Presock first worked for Sterling Faucet in Sabraton, West Virginia, before working at the Duquesne Light Warwick Mine. He also owned and operated Ted’s Auto in Carmichaels for several years. Mr. Presock enjoyed auto body work, riding his motorcycle and the company of his two dogs, BB and Demon.

On June 30, 1972, he married Lou Ann Ruth, who died March 17, 1997.

Surviving are three daughters, Stacey D. Brown and her husband, Curt, Tedi Lynne Pozzuto and her husband, Mike, and Amy Renee Smith, and her husband, Dennis, all of Carmichaels; six grandchildren, A. J. “Jake” Smith, Tia J. Beer, Amanda L. Brown, Cody Brown, Kameron J. Smith and Alexa Louann Smith; a brother, Jerry L. Presock and his wife, Ella, of Carmichaels; three sisters, Darlene S. Beswick and Denise L. Forman and her husband, Derek, all of Carmichaels and Shaun E. Sapp and her husband, Ken, of Easly, South Carolina and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a nephew, David Bowser and his maternal grandparents, Gus and Stella Norris.

Family and friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street, Carmichaels, where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2016. Entombment will follow at Greene County Memorial Park with military honors accorded by the Carmichaels Honor Guard and the U. S. Marine Corps.
