Charles Russell, 85, of Brave, died Tuesday, September 13, 2016, in his home.

He was born September 13, 1931, in Brave, a son of the late Earl Russell and Rose Anna Wise Russell.

Mr. Russell worked as a buffer for Sterling Faucet Company in Morgantown, West Virginia, for many years.

He served in the U.S. Army.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann Grash Russell; a daughter, Deborah Churney of Waynesburg; a brother, Earl Russell of Wadestown; two grandchildren, Eric Churney and Nicholas Churney, both of Waynesburg and a great-granddaughter, Aubrey Churney.

Deceased, in addition to his parents, is a brother, Robert Russell.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., the time of service, Wednesday, September 14, in Owen-Neely Funeral Home, Blacksville, West Virginia, with Eric Churney officiating. Mr. Russell chose cremation as his form of final disposition.

The family requests that flowers be omitted.
