PennDOT announces road closure on Aleppo Road
PennDOT District 12 is advising motorists of a road closure on a section of Route 3001 (Aleppo Road) just north of the intersection of Riggs Road, in Aleppo Township.
The road closure will begin on Friday, Aug. 18, at 6 p.m. and is scheduled to reopen on Monday, Aug. 21, at 5 a.m.
The closure will be in place to allow Rice Poseidon Midstream, LLC. to install a natural gas pipeline.
A posted detour will be in place utilizing Route 3001 (Aleppo Road), Route 3018 (Beam Road), Route 3005 (Long Run Road), Route 3022 (Bristoria Road), Route 21 (Roy E. Furman Highway), Route 3001 (Aleppo Road).
