Mary Ann Bartolovich, 83, of Plainfield, Indiana, passed away November 26, 2017 in Countryside Meadows, Avon, Indiana.

She was born August 31, 1934 in Waynesburg, to the late Carl and Mary Cowell.

Mary Ann retired in 1993 after 38 years as a correctional officer at the Indiana Girls School. She was a member of Plainfield Friends Meeting and Bridgeport Order of Eastern Star #414.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband and sister, Lewis Bartolovich and Nancy Cowell.

Survivors include her children, Deborah Merritt, Suzanne (Stallard) Vance, John (Dawn) Bartolovich and Mark (Cassandra) Bartolovich; a brother, John Cowell; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

There will be no services.
