Raiders cruise to 77-4 victory

The Waynesburg Central wrestling team had dominating performance to open Section 4-AAA (4A) Wednesday night with a 77-4 victory over visiting Chartiers Valley.

Caleb Morris (132), Jack Henson (138), Colby Morris (145), Trey Howard (152), Caleb Stephenson (160), Darnell Johnson (170), Kyle Homet (182), Luke Robinson (195), and Ryan Howard (WC) all won by fall for the Raiders.

Spencer Lesinski (220), Hunter Shriver (106), and Nate Stephenson (126) won by forfeit. Wyatt Henson secured a 21-6 technical fall at 120 pounds.

Tony Montgomery secured the lone victory for the Colts, a 13-2 major decision at 113 pounds.
