Melissa Ann “Missy” Mazutis, 53, of New Eagle, died unexpectedly Thursday, January 19, 2017, in Monongahela Valley Hospital.

She was born November 3, 1963, in Washington, a daughter of the late George Bernard and Helen Ann Puskavich Mazutis.

Ms. Mazutis grew up in Amity and was a 1981 graduate of Bethlehem-Center High School.

She was employed for 20 years as a floral manager at Giant Eagle in Waynesburg.

Ms. Mazutis enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her companions, Tia and Skye.

Surviving are a sister and niece, Martha Mazutis and Helene Mazutis Huseman, with whom she made her home, and her very special girls, Kristie and Shiann.

Per the wishes of the deceased, there will be no visitation. Arrangements are entrusted to Frye Funeral Home Inc., Monongahela.
