David A. Dunseath, Jr.
David A. Dunseath, Jr., 59, of Jefferson, died Sunday, July 2, 2017, in his home.
He was born July 25, 1957, in Waynesburg, a son of David A. Dunseath, Sr. and wife Audrey of Clarksville and Sophie Bartowick Dunseath Stimmell of Jefferson.
Mr. Dunseath was a coal miner at Clyde Mine in Fredericktown. He later worked as a laborer in a paper factory in Roscoe.
He was a social member of American Legion Post 954, Jefferson.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, father and stepmother, are a daughter, Amy Lynn Dunseath of the state of Colorado; a grandson; four stepchildren, David Baumgardner, Tia Pickering, Alana Trusel and Gwen Baumgardner and siblings, Dan Dunseath of Jefferson, Kathy Rowe of Marianna, Chris Grow (Pat Hager) of Clarksville (Pitt Gas), Ralph Porter of Erie, Kim Porter of Bentleyville, Darla Porter of South Carolina, Donna Nelson of Fredericktown and Shelly Baker of Clarksville.
Deceased is his longtime companion, Gwen Keys Baumgardner; a daughter, Lisa Marie Dunseath and three brothers, Tony Dunseath, Billy Joe Dunseath, who died in infancy, and Edward Porter.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 6. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery, Low Hill.
