Charlene Kay Kirk
Charlene Kay Kirk, 61, of Mather, died Tuesday, July 4, 2017, in her home.
She was born July 15, 1955, in Elkins, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Alva Butcher Sr. and the late Martha Simmons Williams.
Ms. Kirk was a graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School and worked as a personal care aide at the former McDaniel’s Personal Care Home in Clarksville.
She was married in 1981 to Everett Kirk Sr., who died in 2002.
Surviving are her stepfather Kenneth Williams Sr. of Carmichaels; four children, Angel (Walter) Stanley of Nemacolin, Christopher (Wendy) Butcher of Mather, Everett Kirk Jr. of Carmichaels and Tonya Kirk of Carmichaels; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings Shelda Vandevender of Elkins, Debra McClure of New Freeport, Alva Butcher of New Freeport, Patricia Russell of Carmichaels, Randall Butcher of Belmont, Ohio, Delores Butcher of Carmichaels, Trenia Williams of Connellsville, Kenneth Williams Jr. of Carmichaels, Rebecca Lingenfield of the state of Indiana and Elizabeth Sines of Carmichaels.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, is a sister, Anita Jane Butcher, who died at birth and two nephews.
