Melanie Jane Howells, age 43 of Waynesburg, died July 25, 2017 in her home.

Mrs. Howells was born May 18, 1974 in Bedford, England, the daughter of David and Sheila Gooch Gladding, who survive.

Mrs. Howells served in the U.S. Air Force as a nurse from 1988-1992. She had recently worked at Wal-Mart.

She is also survived by two sons, Justin Howells (Chelsey Blake), of Mather and John Howells, of Waynesburg; two sisters, Courtney Howells (Cory) and Lindsey Howells, both of Waynesburg; three grandchildren, Aubree Hanlin, Riley Howells and Noah Howells; a brother, David Gladding and her former husband, Mark Howells of Waynesburg.

Funeral services are private and under the direction of Lesako Funeral Home Inc., Carmichaels.
