Mary Ruth Russell Lowe
Mary Ruth Russell Lowe, 95, of Morgantown, West Virginia, formerly of Mt. Morris, died at 1:00 a.m. Sunday, June 4, 2017, in the Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown.
She was born Thursday, August 18, 1921 in Mt. Morris, a daughter of the late Robert W. Russell and Ruth DeBolt Russell.
Mrs. Lowe was affiliated with the Mt. Morris United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Edwin L. Lowe, whom she married on June 30, 1956.
Also surviving are two daughters, Lillian Evans, of Aurora, Colorado and Mary Ellen (Melvin) Furman, of Annandale, Virginia; one son, George W. Evans II, of Fort Morgan, Colorado; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 14 Great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great granddaughter; two sisters, Joanne Doggette, of Samsula, Alabama and Martha Harrell and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are one sister, Barbara Frances Russell and two brothers, Robert W. Russell, Jr. and John M. Russell.
At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation or services. Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, Owner/Director, 324 Mt. Morris Road, Mount Morris, is in charge of arrangements. Private burial will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris.
