Phillip J. Wyant
Phillip J. Wyant, known as ” PJ” or “Big P” to friends, 27, of Waynesburg passed away tragically following an auto accident Saturday, June 10, 2017.
Born March 19, 1991, in Fairmont, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Aarron D. Wyant and Peggy M. Roberts of Waynesburg.
He graduated in 2009 from Waynesburg High School.
Mr. Wyant served in the U.S. Army as a PV1 from 2009 to 2011. He was stationed in Camp Carroll, Korea, where he was in culinary arts at the 501st Consolidated Dining Facility. He was employed by SCI Greene as a corrections officer and previously at T & T Auto and Mt. View Apartment Complex.
Mr. Wyant was a member of Waynesburg Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4793 and Waynesburg Eagles Aerie 598.
He enjoyed music, playing ping pong, cooking, football, spending time with his brothers, partying with friends, having fun and making people smile and laugh.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Area Wyant, and his ex-wife Monique Diaz of Texas; his brothers, Albert L. Wyant of Florida and Aarron L. Wyant of Waynesburg; two nephews; his girlfriend Angie McGruder of Waynesburg and her children, Isaiaa McGruder, Anigah Sisserd and Anya Sisserd and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
