Stephen Charles Rapchak, age 76, of Lexington, Kentucky, formerly of Nemacolin, died June 23, 2017.

Mr. Rapchak was born March 23, 1941, the son of the late Stephen and Mary Rapchak.

Mr. Rapchak is survived by his wife, Charlene Plues Rapchak; two children, Joel Rapchak and Larisa Rapchak-Erwin; eight grandchildren; his sister, Mary Lou Swatty and brother, Bruce Rapchak.

A son, Eric John Rapchak is deceased.

Mr. Rapchak was a Mining Engineer, and managed mines in the United States and a Gold Mine in Ghana.

Stephen and Charlene were world travelers.

Family and friends will be received in the Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, Paul M. Lesako, Funeral Director/Supervisor, on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, 296 Old Rt. 21 Rd., Carmichaels, with the Very Reverend Thomas Galloway. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg.
