Man killed after tree falls on truck
A tree fell onto a pickup truck on Ridge Road in Jefferson Township June 22, killing the driver instantly, state police said.
Pronounced dead at the scene was Scott W. Miller, 36, of Valley Grove, West Virginia.
Police said Miller was driving on Ridge Road, just west of Bench Road at approximately 8:30 a.m., when a large tree fell and crushed the windshield and roof of his Dodge Ram truck.
No other information regarding this incident was released to the Messenger by press time.
