Ruby Darling Wise Casseday, age 76, of Greensboro, died on her birthday, November 12, 2017.

Mrs. Casseday was born November 12, 1941 in Waynesburg, the daughter of the late Burns Wesley and Goldie Thelma Wise.

Ruby is survived by her husband, Blaine A Casseday; three sons, Raymond Casseday, of Carmichaels, Damon Casseday, of Greensboro and Sonny Casseday, of Seabeck, Washington; a daughter, Hope Black (David), of Greensboro; a brother, David Wise, of Greensboro; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a beloved aunt Sylvia Carter.

Deceased are a brother, William Burns Wise and sister Sylvia Loueva Wise.

Ruby operated a beauty shop in Greensboro for many years.

She was a member of the Greene Valley Presbyterian Church and the Greensboro Baptist Church. She was a former member of the Dunkard Grange.

She loved to crochet and singing Karaoke at Two Rivers in Dilliner.

Friends will be received in the Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Ave., Carmichaels on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday. The service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend H.O. Kelley officiating.
