Frances Jean “Jeannie” (Masters) Burnette
Frances Jean “Jeannie” (Masters) Burnette of Mannington, West Virginia, formerly of Brave, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 in Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.
Born at Lake Lynn, on July 8, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Jessie (Coburn) Masters.
She was a faithful and active member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Mannington.
Surviving are her two children and their spouses, John and Stephanie Burnette and Stacey and Tadeusz Wajler all of Fairview, West Virginia; 14 grandchildren; a brother, Donnie Masters of Mount Morris; a sister, Ruth Masters Sebulsky of Markleysburg and her many friends of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Her beloved husband of 45 years, David Burnette, passed away on October 10, 2012. Also deceased are sisters, Ruby, Sylvia, Freda, Eleanor, Wanda and brothers, Tunny Masters and Junior Masters.
The family will receive friends in the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from Noon until 1:00 p.m., the hour of Service with her Pastor, Lee Bowman, officiating. Interment will follow in Fletcher Cemetery, Cheat Lake.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Calvary Baptist Church, Highway 250 North, Mannington, WV 26582.
