Frank E. Cettin II
Frank E. Cettin II, 57, of Bobtown, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017 as a result of an automobile accident.
He was born on September 29, 1959 in Waynesburg, a son of the late Frank E. Cettin and Doris (Cipcic) Cettin.
Frank was a graduate of Mapletown High School and was employed with Stahls DFC in Masontown.
He was a member of Saint Ignatius Roman Catholic Church in Bobtown.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Kovach.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita (Sloneker) Cettin, and his granddaughter, Aurora Szczyrbak at home; his son, Joseph Szczyrbak of Morgantown, West Virginia; two daughters, Natalie Glenn and husband Paul of Morgantown, Jessica Hanlan of Dilliner; a grandson, Dexter Glenn; three sisters, Barbara Galida and husband Gerald of Farmington, Carol Polosky and husband Gary of Bobtown and Karen Sharrow and husband Tom of Bobtown; two brothers, Jeffrey Cettin and wife Joanne of Butler, Christopher Cettin of Bobtown and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Frank was a real people’s person who never met a stranger and was a dedicated family man who not only loved his family but also his work family at Stahls.
He also loved music and to hunt and fish.
Friends were received in the Louis E. Rudolph Funeral Home, Thomas B. Rudolph, Funeral Director & Supervisor, 15 North Main Street, Point Marion, on Monday, September 4, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, September 5, 2017 until 10:30 a.m. when brief Prayers were said followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Ignatius Roman Catholic with Reverend Father J. Francis Frazer as the Celebrant. Burial will be private.
