Joseph J. Matusik Sr.
Joseph J. Matusik Sr., age 70, of Mt. Morris, died September 21, 2017 in Town View Nursing Home, Canonsburg.
Mr. Matusik was born February 19, 1947 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, the son of the late Joseph A. and Mary Morrell Matusik.
He is survived by eight children, Dolores Carley (Charles), Joanne Matusik Flowers (David Stanley), Joseph J. Matusik Jr. (Shawna), Christina Cunningham (Rigoberto Balcon), Jennifer Nagy, Jessica Frazier (Chris Holcomb), Kimberly Hall (Bill), and Candi Matusik Wolfe (Chuck); 40 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Frazier and Rosemary McGlumphy and his Fiancé, Lydia Carey.
A daughter, Holly Matusik; two brothers; three sisters and a great-grandchild are deceased.
Mr. Matusik worked as a miner, landscaper, and factory worker during his life. He retired from Norland Plastics Corp. of Wichita, Kansas. He was a member of the Waynesburg Eagles Club #598.
Joseph enjoyed motorcycling, crocheting, crafting, and fishing.
Friends will be received in the Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home Inc., Carmichaels, Paul Lesako Supervisor, Robert Lippencott Funeral Director, on Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 4:00 in the funeral home chapel.
