Charleen Workman Hoffman, age 94, of Venetia, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 in Washington Hospital.

She was born December 15, 1923 in Greene County, the daughter of the late Andrew and Cora Wendt Workman.

Mrs. Hoffman was a 1942 graduate of Cameron High School. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in McMurray, where she was a member of U.M. Women and “Daytimers” group.

She was employed as an RN by various hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio, prior to retiring from St. Luke’s Hospital, Cleveland, in 1983.

Mrs. Hoffman enjoyed reading, knitting hats for the Salvation Army, cross stitch and needlework.

In 1979, she married Brasil E. Hoffman, who passed away in 1989.

She was the last of her immediate family.

Friends will be received on Monday, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC., 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy., Rogersville. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeffrey Vanderhoff, officiating. Burial will follow in Braddock Cemetery, Graysville.
