A Greensboro woman, whose husband is facing charges for allegedly raping an 11-year-old girl, was arrested for allegedly directing and recording child pornography between the child and her husband.

Cheyenna Marie Perry, 35, of 197 Hartley Road in Monongahela Township is facing eight counts each of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child and indecent assault of a person less than 13, and 15 counts each of photographing/filming child sex acts, corruption of minors, and disseminating photo/film of child sex acts.

Her husband, Matthew S. Perry, 38, was charged June 2 and is awaiting his preliminary hearing on rape of a child and related charges for allegedly sexually assaulting the girl multiple times and taking pictures of her.

According to the affidavit of probable cause filed against Cheyenna Perry, state police received a computer analysis earlier this week which showed multiple pictures and videos of the 11-year-old girl, including photographs of the child nude and in provocative poses, performing sex acts alone and with Matthew Perry while making vulgar and degrading statements. At the conclusion of the video with her husband, Cheyenna Perry was allegedly seen coming up to the camera and shutting of the recording device.

State police interviewed her later that day. She reportedly admitted to taking the photos and videos of the girl and directed her in performing the sex acts as she recorded them. She said she sent them to her husband, while he was evading police for an active felony warrant, according to court paperwork. He was arrested in August. Perry claimed she took the videos of the girl because she was “under duress from her husband.”

Police reportedly asked her why she did not call the police and explain her actions after he was arrested.

“Perry indicated she was embarrassed, and things were going better since his apprehension,” Trooper Joseph Popielarcheck wrote in the affidavit.

She was arraigned Wednesday morning before Magisterial District Judge Lee Watson. She is lodged in Greene County Prison in lieu of a $100,000 bond.

Matthew Perry’s preliminary hearing has been continued six times. The next scheduled time is 1 p.m. July 26.
