Helen Irene Six, age 80, of Franklin Twp., passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 in Braun’s Personal Care Home in Waynesburg.

Born May 2, 1937 in Waynesburg, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Desta (Nuyum) Six.

Helen was a graduate of Waynesburg High School, class of 1957. She was a housekeeper for Greene County Memorial Hospital for 48 years until she retired in 2006. Helen enjoyed collecting Amish cookbooks, literature, reading the newspaper and listening to the radio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Beulah (Six) Cumberledge.

Friends will be received Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., a funeral service will follow at Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC. 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy., Rogersville, with Pastor Cynthia Deter officiating. A burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Gilmore Township.
