Patricia Lynn Albert, 69, of Wheeling, West Virginia, formerly of Waynesburg, died at 11:09 p.m. Sunday, August 5, 2018 at the Washington Hospital.

She was born February 16, 1949 in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Edward Albert and Rose Bartolovich Albert of Washington.

She was a graduate of Waynesburg High School, class of 1968. She attended Uniontown Beauty Academy, where she worked briefly before opening her own shop in Waynesburg, above Albert’s Restaurant. She also was employed at Albert’s Restaurant and Motel in Waynesburg. She spent five years working as a personal caregiver in Washington. From the late 1990’s, she was employed at the Victoria Theater in Wheeling, West Virginia, until her retirement in 2005.

In 2015, although in declining health, she spent her last years caring for her late brother, Don Albert.

In addition to her mother, Rose, she is survived by her brother, John and his wife Pam of Waynesburg; a sister, Anita Lanoy and her husband Rick of Washington and a brother, Bob and wife, Cindy of Pittsburgh. She is also survived by her roommate and longtime friend Lynda Tyska, of Wheeling and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are her father, Edward Albert, who died in 1980 and her brother, Don, who died in June of this year.

There will be no public visitation or services. Services for the family are private. Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton, Owner/Director, 197 North Maiden St., Waynesburg, is in charge of arrangements.
