Raiders’ McIntire sets career points record

Darton McIntire became Waynesburg Central’s all-time leading scorer Friday night, but South Fayette secured the victory, defeating the visiting Raiders, 64-56, in Section 3-AAAA action.

McIntire scored a game-high 32 points to run his career total to 1,486, eclipsing the previous mark of 1,466 points.

The Raiders slide to 1-11 in the section and 4-15 overall.

Tim Locher led the Lions (9-3, 12-6) with 15 points. Drew Franklin finished with 12 and Braden Hoy added 10.
