Lady Pioneers easily defeat Bentworth, 69-28
The West Greene girls scored all the points they needed before halftime Tuesday night for a 69-28 non-section victory over visiting Bentworth.
The Lady Pioneers improve to 19-1 overall, while the Lady Bearcats slip to 3-18.
West Greene led 23-7 after the first quarter and 44-15 at halftime. The home team outscored Bentworth in the second half, 25-13.
McKenna Lampe scored a game-high 18 points for the Lady Pioneers. Kaitlyn Rizor (17), Elizabeth Brudnock (12), and Jersey Wise (11) also scored in double figures.
Jenna Vito led Bentworth with 11 points.
