Parent Drug Prevention Night to be held March 1
The community is coming together at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 1 to present a drug prevention night for parents in the Jefferson-Morgan High School auditorium.
The program is a countywide school effort to “protect our children against the drug crisis,” said organizers of the event.
Keynote speaker for the evening will be Mike Cipoletti, director of forensic science at Waynesburg University.
Following his presentation, questions may be addressed to a panel consisting of Jefferson-Morgan Superintendent Joseph Orr, state police Trooper Chris Babirad, therapist Tom Schlosser, and representatives from the Coalition for a Brighter Greene.
Refreshments will be available and activities for children will be offered in the school gymnasium.
The event is free and is open to everyone.
