Barry Lee Holzworth
Barry Lee Holzworth, 66, of Waynesburg, died at 11:45 a.m. Sunday, December 31, 2017, at the home of his friends Gary and Donna Whipkey in Graysville.
He was born Tuesday, October 23, 1951 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Clayton Holzworth and Dolores Fuchs Holzworth.
Mr. Holzworth was a graduate of Keystone Oaks High School. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved restoring classic cars and spending time with his beagle Harley. He was a longtime employee of Burns Tire in Waynesburg where he worked as an auto mechanic.
His wife, Christine E. Aiken Holzworth, whom he married on October 12, 1975, died March 24, 2004.
Surviving are three sons, Regis L. Holzworth and his wife, Karen of Steubenville, Ohio, Michael C. Holzworth, and his wife Thea of Pittsburgh and Casey L. Holzworth, and his wife Kelly of Saratoga Springs, New York; four grandchildren, Addison, Ryan, Emma and Arlo Holzworth; four sisters, Barbara Robison, of Lakeland, Florida, Beverly Gaffney, of Cranberry, Bonnie Knoche, of Erie and Beth Holzworth, of Erie; two brothers, Bradley Holzworth and Bruce Holzworth, both of Pittsburgh and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2018 in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, Owner/Director, 197 N. Maiden St., Waynesburg, where services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, Ruff Creek.
