Joanna M. Stoneking Stump, 79, of Mt. Morris, died at 12:49 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2018, in the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia.

She was born Thursday, December 1, 1938 in Mt. Morris, a daughter of the late Jesse Odell Stoneking and Virginia Brewer Stoneking.

Mrs. Stump was a member of the Mt. Morris Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and shopping. She loved all animals and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Bernard F. Stump, whom she married on June 8, 1957.

Also surviving are three daughters, Deborah J. Stump, of Mt. Morris, Sandy Fenstermacher and her husband, Steve, of Waynesburg and Sherry Morris, and her husband, Douglas, of Fairmont, West Virginia; two sons, Douglas F. Stump, of Mt. Morris and Brian K. Stump, and his wife Michelle, of Waynesburg; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; one brother, Larry Stoneking, and his wife, Sandra, of Mt. Morris, West Virginia and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018 in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, Owner/Director, 324 Mt. Morris Road, Mt. Morris. There will be additional visitation on Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. the time of the service at the Mt. Morris Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God, 103 School Road, Mt. Morris, with Rev. John Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris.
