Elizabeth J. “Lib” Lemley, age 88, of Waynesburg, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018 in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home in Waynesburg.

She was born August 31, 1930 in Jefferson, a daughter of the late Alva and Martha Goslin Adamson.

She was a graduate of Waynesburg High School.

On June 16, 1954 she married Edward Rex Lemley, who died September 13, 1990.

Mrs. Lemley was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Greene County.

She had attended the Kirby United Methodist Church, the Claughton Chapel United Methodist Church and most recently the First Christian Church of Waynesburg.

Lib was a member of the Whiteley Township Farm Women. She enjoyed quilting.

Surviving are two sons, Rodney B. Lemley (Christina) of Waynesburg and Mark E. Lemley (the late Judi) of Waynesburg; one granddaughter, Alyssa Hoge (Jonathan) of Waynesburg; a great-granddaughter, Harper Hoge; four brothers, James (Lawana) Adamson of Waynesburg, Duane Adamson of Waynesburg, John (Linda) Adamson of Ocala, Florida and Benjamin (Judy) Adamson of Ravenna, Ohio; one sister, Betty Van Druff of Mt. Morris and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are four brothers, Charles Adamson, George Adamson, Joseph W. Adamson and Robert W. Adamson.

Friends will be received 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 W. High St., Waynesburg, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 23, 2018 with Rev. Scott Chambers officiating followed by interment in Fairall Cemetery, Whiteley Township.
