Denise Ann Finnegan
Denise Ann Finnegan, age 43, of Wind Ridge, and formerly of Moundsville, West Virginia passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 6, 2018 in her home.
Born May 1, 1974 in Wheeling, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Dallas Lee Benson and Rebecca Benson.
Denise was a Greene County resident for over 20 years. She attended Wheeling High School.
Denise was married to George R. Finnegan for 21 years.
She was the secretary for Finnegan Gas Corporation for 20 Years. Denise loved taking care of her cats. She enjoyed good times and watching movies with her family and friends. Denise loved to travel to the beach, Jamaica was her favorite destination.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by, her husband, George R. Finnegan, of Wind Ridge; one daughter, Olivia (TJ) Cooper, of Wind Ridge; one grandson, Conner Benson; two siblings, Chaz (Brittany) Benson, of Wheeling and Candie (Henry) Foster, of Dallas, West Virginia; five nieces and nephews, Courtney Clark, Colton Foster, Catherine Foster, Cheyenne Foster and Cade Foster; aunts and uncles, Bob and Joann LeMasters, of Zanesville, Ohio, Tammy Bland, of Moundsville and Robert Bever, of Wheeling and her best friend, Kelly Gump, of Wheeling.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by one son, Jesse Benson; her maternal grandmother, Dorothy “Nanny” Bever and one uncle, Herman Bland.
Friends will be received on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC., 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy., Rogersville. A funeral service will be held on Sunday March 11, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Jim Jarvis officiating. Burial will follow at Jacksonville Cemetery.
