Jaqueline Joanne Callahan

Jaqueline Joanne Callahan (nee Kern), 88, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on February 13, 2018.
She was born on August 11, 1929 in Waynesburg, to the late John and Margaret Kern.
Jacqueline worked at K-Mart for 25 years and enjoyed talking to all her customers. She enjoyed traveling, singing, dancing, crossword puzzles, baking, sewing, and surfing the internet until the day she passed away. Jacqueline would talk with anyone about anything and always found good in everyone she met. One word to describe Jacqueline would be compassionate.
She was a loving and faithful wife for 52 years, a dedicated mother, and will be deeply missed by the many who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving children, Charles (Janylle) Callahan of Illinois, John (Connie) Callahan of Arizona and Mark (Renee) Callahan of Alabama; her treasured grandchildren, Kellie, Karla, Matthew, Patrick, Mark, Morgan, Cheyenne, Trina and Danielle; her 20 great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles Raymond Callahan and sisters Yolanda (Palone) and Jessie (Dugan).
The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation honoring Jacqueline on Friday, March 23, 2018, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick, OH 44212. A Celebration of Life will follow at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Ken Faust officiating. Inurnment will follow at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick.
