‘He’s Alive!’ Heaven Bound Ministries to present Easter musical passion play

Heaven Bound Ministries will present the Easter musical passion play “He’s Alive!” this upcoming Palm Sunday weekend, March 23, 24 and 25, at the Capitol Theatre, located at 1015 Main Street in Wheeling, West Virginia.
The Friday and Saturday evening performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. and the Palm Sunday matinee will begin at 3:30 p.m. The doors for each of the free performances will open one hour before the performance times. Seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis. No reservations or tickets are needed.
Heaven Bound Ministries announced this is the 16th time this live-on-stage musical has been performed to the community as a free gift.
“He’s Alive!” has become an Easter season tradition for many. This theater production involves nearly 300 cast and crew, hailing from around the tri-state area, who volunteer their time and talents to bring the scriptures to life on the stage of the Capitol Theatre.
Every year nearly 5,000 people are welcomed into the historic venue to “watch the greatest story ever told (that of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ) come to life on the stage” in this inspiring musical drama.
“He’s Alive!” is produced and directed by Heaven Bound Ministries, Inc., a non-profit, non-denominational organization devoted to the sole purpose of spreading the Word of God through Christian entertainment via music, drama, humor and the spoken word.
Heaven Bound Ministries is governed by a board of directors consisting of Doris Estep, Richard Headlee, Brenda Hetzel, Michael Hooper, Pastor Paul Smith and Jeannie Pierce Waychoff.
